Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme has made quite a name for itself in the smartphone market. With its limited portfolio, the brand has managed to stay afloat amidst cutthroat competition — the latest phone from Realme, the Realme 3 launched in India in March 2019. Since its launch, more than 5 lakh units of the Realme 3 have been sold in India. The company took to its Twitter handle to reveal it.

Realme 3 Price in India, Specs, Rivaling Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
The Realme 3 price in India starts at INR 8,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and INR 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The phone is available in Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Black color options. The Realme 3 is a dual-SIM phone featuring a 6.2-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 19:9 aspect ratio. An octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC powers the device. It has a 13MP+2MP dual camera setup on the rear with PDAF, Portrait Mode, Nightscape mode, Hybrid HDR, Chroma Boost, and other features. There is a 13MP camera on the front supporting AI Beautification, AI Face Unlock, and HDR. A 4,230mAh battery backs the Realme 3.
The Realme 3 faces stiff competition from Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 smartphone. Both the phones battle on a similar price ground and are alternatives for each other. The Redmi Note 7 has also achieved a substantial lead in the Indian smartphone market, and the Realme 3 is trying to match the pace. One of the major differences between the phones occurs in the chipset and connectivity segments. A MediaTek Helio P70 chipset powers the Realme 3 while the Redmi Note 7 has Snapdragon 660 AIE processor. The Redmi Note 7 comes with the USB Type-C connectivity while the Realme 3 settles for microUSB port.
