Realme 3 Diamond Red Color Variant to Soon Launch in India

Ishan Agarwal, a popular tipster, has a put out a tweet claiming that the Realme 3 will soon be available in a new color variant – Diamond Red. He has also posted an image of the Realme 3 in the Diamond Red color variant. As you can see in the picture, this color variant has a back panel with red color at the top that mixes to blue in the bottom part. Ishan hasn’t revealed the exact launch date for this color variant; he just says that it is “launching very soon.” Expect it to launch in a week or so.

Currently, the Realme 3 comes in three color variants – Radiant Blue, Dynamic Black, and Classic Black. All three color variants made their debut when the device first launched in the country on the 4^th of March, 2019. If what Ishan claims turns out to be true, people might soon be able to choose Realme 3 in four color variants. It is very likely that Realme will launch the Realme 3 in the Diamond Red color variant, as the Realme 1 and Realme 2 came in this color variant as well.

Realme 3 Price in India

The Realme 3 is available in India in three memory configurations. The base variant has 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and it costs INR 8,999. The middle variant features 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, and it has a price tag of INR 9,999. And the top-end variant comes with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and it will set you back INR 10,999. The Realme 3 can be purchased from Realme online store, Flipkart, and through Realme’s offline retail channels.

Realme 3 Specifications

The Realme 3 features a 6.22-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. The display has a V-shaped notch at the top and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Powering the Realme 3 is the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, which has four Cortex-A73 cores, four Cortex-A53 cores, and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The smartphone comes loaded with Android 9 Pie OS, and it has Color OS 6 customization over it.

In terms of imaging, the smartphone has a dual-camera setup that consists of 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth-sensor. The rear camera can record Full HD videos. The front-facing camera of the smartphone is a 13MP unit that can record Full HD videos as well.

The Realme 3 packs a 4230mAh battery, and it supports 10W charging. Connectivity features of the Realme 3 include dual-SIM, dual-VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
