We all know that the Realme 3 will be launched in India at an event that’s set to happen on March 4. However, the OPPO subsidiary smartphone brand has started teasing the Realme 3 Pro already, and it looks like the phone could have at least one flagship-grade feature.

Earlier today, Realme as well as the company CEO Madhav Sheth’s Twitter accounts started teasing an upcoming phone from the brand. One of those teaser tweets hints towards the Realme 3 Pro, and the company seems to be targeting the Redmi Note 7 in the teasers.

Realme 3 Pro Coming Soon With VOOC Flash Charge-Like Technology?

The video mentions “Be Proactive,” indicating the word Pro could be in the phone’s name, and the lightning graphics in the shape of numerical 3 points towards the Realme 3 Pro. Going by the teaser video that was tweeted by Realme, the Realme 3 Pro could feature a fast charging technology. Since Realme is OPPO’s subsidiary brand, we are inclined to think that the Realme 3 Pro could feature the VOOC Flash Charge technology (could be under a different branding).

It is being suggested that the Realme 3 is a direct successor to the Realme 2 and that it could launch with a price tag that’s similar to the pricing of the Realme. So, it’s not unnatural to think that the Realme 3 Pro could be a successor to the Realme 2 Pro. Since the Realme 2 Pro lacked any kind of rapid charging technology, it is good to know that the brand is working on bringing that feature with the Realme 3 Pro.

Moreover, when a Twitter user asked Realme Mobile’s CEO whether consumers could expect VOOC Flash Charging in upcoming phones from the company, Madhav Sheth replied “why not,” giving us even more hope of finding that feature in the Realme 3 Pro.

What Could We Expect From Realme 3 Pro?

The Realme 2 Pro was a real surprise for many of us. It brought an excellent processor, the Snapdragon 660, in a price range that was never heard before. It also brought 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, something the Indian market hadn’t seen before. However, it lacked a USB Type-C port and any form of battery fast charging technology. With the Realme 3 Pro, we expect the company to bring USB Type-C port and OPPO’s VOOC Flash Charge technology (the 20W version).

We also hope that the company brings Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 software with the Realme 3 Pro. For those who don’t know already, ColorOS 6.0 brings a major UI design refresh, featuring heavy use of white background, modern-looking iconography, and a completely redone notifications as well as quick setting toggle area.
