Realme has started rolling out a new software update to the Realme 3i and the Realme 3 smartphones in India. The update is being rolled out via the OTA method. The software update for the Realme 3i and the Realme 3 Pro comes bearing the build number RMX1821EX_11.A.26. The package size of the update, however, is currently unknown.

According to the brand, the new update for both the smartphones is currently being rolled out to a limited number of users. If the update doesn’t cause any problems, it will be rolled out to other users soon. If you haven’t received the update, try checking for the update from the settings menu. If you still don’t receive it and if you don’t want to wait for the OTA update either, you can download the new software from Realme’s support page for software updates and install it manually. If you don’t know the process to update manually, please refer to Realme’s guide for it on the software updates support page.

Coming to the changes, the new software for the Realme 3i and Realme 3 offers the Android security patch for March 2020, support for Airtel’s and Jio’s VoWiFi service, and bug fixes and system stability improvements. In case you are wondering about the Android version of this update, it is based on the Android 9 Pie OS.
