Realme 3i with Helio P60 SoC, 4GB RAM Passes Through Geekbench Ahead of Launch in India

Fast growing smartphone brand Realme is expected to launch not one but two new smartphones in India on July 15. Along with the mid-range Realme X, the company will also launch the Realme 3i, believed to be a “lite” variant of the Realme 3. An unannounced Realme smartphone bearing model number RMX1827 has now surfaced on Geekbench. Going by the hardware specifications of the handset, it is possible that the RMX1827 is a variant of the upcoming Realme 3i.

The RMX1827 listing on Geekbench tells us the upcoming smartphone will run on an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. However, just like the Realme 3, we expect the phone to be available in a 3GB RAM variant as well. Moving on to the benchmarking scores, Realme 3i achieved 1,420 points in the single-core test and 5,070 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. Just as expected, Realme is testing the smartphone on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system currently.

According to a teaser page for the Realme 3i on Flipkart, it will be a “Real Champion” with a stylish design, large display, big battery, and impressive camera. Going by the name of the smartphone, the Realme 3i will be slotted between the Realme 3 and the entry-level Realme C2. The Realme 3, which was launched in India earlier this year, comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ resolution panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs on a 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor, a slightly faster chipset compared to the Helio P60 that will power the Realme 3i. In the camera department, Realme 3i is equipped with a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back and a single 13MP selfie camera. It is fueled by a 4230mAh capacity battery and runs on Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 software.
