The Realme 5 series of smartphones is still relatively fresh, but it has certainly not stopped the leaks about the upcoming Realme 6 series from appearing on the internet lately. A little while ago, the Realme 6 moniker was confirmed courtesy of the IMDA certification website it appeared on. Soon after that, we were able to spot the device on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website. Now, the Realme 6 has appeared on the Indian e-commerce platform Flipkart, which hints that the launch date of the Realme 6 series of smartphones is imminent.
Realme 6 Could be Launching Soon, Appears on the Flipkart Affiliate Page
As seen in the image above, we can see the Realme 6 device being listed for the Flipkart affiliate partners. We were able to spot the device from our affiliate account. Soon after the report went live on one of our social media handles, the device was taken down from the Flipkart page. That, however, could not stop us from taking a screenshot of the same. This could very well have been a mistake from the developer’s end, who might have accidentally listed the Realme 6 on the page ahead of schedule, for all we know. Nevertheless, the Flipkart listing suggests that the launch date of the Realme 6 series is nearing.
Speaking of the specifications of the device, we don’t have much knowledge about it as of now. However, the Realme 6 series could very well run on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Furthermore, the chances of the devices making use of the latest Realme UI are highly likely, given the recently launched Realme C3 budget smartphone also comes with Realme UI out of the box. Moreover, the Wi-Fi certification the device appeared on suggests that the Realme 6 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G90(T) chipset. Other than what we mentioned, the rest of the details surrounding the Realme 6 smartphone are anyone’s guess for now. That said, we will definitely keep you posted, should we receive any more information.
