Yesterday, we spotted the Realme 7 5G smartphone on the NBTC certification website, which hinted that the 5G variant of the device could be launching anytime soon. Little did we know that we would get to know its launch date 24 hours after reporting its certification. Earlier today, Realme‘s official UK handle confirmed the launch date of the Realme 7 5G on Twitter – November 19, 2020. Take a look at what we know about the Realme 7 5G smartphone so far.

Realme 7 5G to launch on November 19, here’s what it could have in store

As mentioned earlier, Realme UK Twitter handle confirmed that the Realme 7 5G would be unveiled globally on November 19, 2020, 10 AM GMT. Though the tweet has not explicitly mentioned anything about the specifications and features of the device, we can clearly see that the Realme 7 5G will fashion a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which will be located in the top left corner of the device’s display. Furthermore, the Realme 7 5G will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In any case, we have already identified the model number of the device (Realme RMX2111), which falls in line with the previously launched Realme V5, thereby leading us to believe that the Realme 7 5G could very well be a rebadged Realme V5, which has already been launched in China.

If that is indeed the case, the Realme 7 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, which will be paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Coming to the display of the device, the Realme 7 5G will sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel.

For the photography enthusiasts out there, the Realme 7 5G will sport a quadruple rear camera setup – 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP and a 16MP selfie shooter. In terms of battery life, the Realme 7 5G will boast a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.

Readers should be made aware that we have speculated on the specifications of the Realme 7 5G based on the premise that its model number is the same as that of the Realme V5. There might be some changes in the end product, so we cannot be completely sure for now. Nevertheless, the launch is not too far from now anyway, so we won’t have to wait for too long before things become officially clear.
