Realme has started pushing new security patches for its smartphones in India. The company, which has also been working on rolling out the new Android 13 beta update for select mid-range and premium Realme smartphones, is now rolling out the November security patch for four smartphones in India. These include the Realme 7 Pro, Realme X7 Max 5G, Realme C30s and the Realme 9 5G.

Out of the four devices, the Realme C30s and the Realme 9 5G are among the most recent smartphone launches in India. It is commendable that the Realme 7 Pro, which was launched in September 2020, has received the new November security patch. The Realme X7 Max, which was launched in India last year, has also got the November security patch. So what’s new? Realme 7 Pro, Realme 9 5G and Other Smartphones Get New November OTA Update

The Realme X7 Max is the most premium offering of the four devices that are getting the new November OTA update for users in India. Launched in May 2021, the device has received the latest RMX3031_11.C.16 OTA update. Realme is rolling out the update in a phased manner. Therefore, if you haven’t received the update yet, we advice waiting for a few more days.

The new update integrates the October 2022 Android security patches. It also claims to improve the system’s performance and stability. The company stated that this update will be randomly pushed out to a limited number of users soon and will have a broader rollout in a few days to ensure there are no critical bugs.

Realme 7 Pro, which was launched in India for under Rs 20,000 in 2020, has received the new November update with the UI version number RMX2170_11.F.23. The update improves system performance in some scenarios and integrates the October 2022 Android security patches.

The Realme 9 5G is a budget 5G smartphone launched for under Rs 15,000 in India. It is a predecessor to the Realme 10 5G, which is yet to arrive in India. Realme 9 5G users will soon get the new RMX3388_11.C.05 update in a phased manner. The update integrates the October 2022 Android security patch to enhance system security. It is also claimed to improve system performance and stability.

The last phone to be getting the new November OTA update from the company is the Realme C30s. The entry-level smartphone is fairly new and was launched in September 2022. Users with the Realme budget smartphone under Rs 10,000 will soon get the RMX3690_12.A.32 update. This update fixes multiple issues reported by users. For starters, the update claims to fix some known black screen or auto power-off issues. It also improves the overall system stability. Realme has updated the September 2022 security patch as well for the device.

Like other smartphones mentioned above, the update for the C30s will also be rolled out in a phased manner. The company will be pushing the update randomly to a select set of users. If no issues are reported, all C30s users will get the new November update in the coming days.
