Realme 7i India Support Page Goes Live, Suggests Imminent Launch

Realme 7i is expected to launch in India under INR 15,000 price point.


Realme launched its mid-range segment smartphone in Indonesia on September 17th. Later the smartphone was suggested to be launch in India as well by popular tipster Himanshu. According to the tipster, the company is planning to launch the handset in October and now we have spotted the Realme 7i on the company’s official support form hinting towards a sooner launch in the Indian market. The official listing of smartphone confirmed the India launch, however, the launch date is still a mystery.

The Realme 7i was launched in Indonesia for RP 3,099,00 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. If converted into INR then it would be around INR 15,372, so we can expect the smartphone to launch within a price point of INR 15,000.

Realme 7i Specifications and Features

Thanks to Indonesia launch we already know about the specifications of the smartphone. The Realme 7i flaunts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display features an HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, clubbed with Adreno 610 GPU. The smartphone is backed by an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card slot.

On the optics front, the Realme 7i features a rectangular-shaped quad-camera setup place at the top left corner of the panel. The sensors consist of 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, 2MP B&W portrait sensor and 2MP macro shooter, along with an LED flash. Upfront, there is a 16MP snapper which sits under the punch-hole cutout design for selfies and video calling.

The Realme 7i is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 operating system with Realme UI skin on top of it. Let’s see when the company is planning to launch the smartphone in India.
