Realme 7i, Realme 7 Pro Receive FCC Certification Ahead of Launch, Key Features Revealed

A couple of days before the official launch, we have spotted Realme 7 Pro along with Realme 7i on FCC revealing some key details.

Realme is all set to launch the latest smartphone under its number series in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro on September 3. Realme, with Realme 7 series is bringing some exciting new features which were unheard in the segment, be it in-display fingerprint sensor or 65W SuperDart charging technology. Now, a couple of days before the official launch, we have spotted a couple of Realme 7 series smartphones on FCC revealing some key specifications of the device.

Realme 7i and Realme 7 Pro appeared on FCC revealing more details

We already know that Realme 7 Pro will feature 65W SuperDart charging technology but the FCC certification information has revealed that the smartphone will pack a dual-cell battery technology similar to Realme X2 Pro and Realme X50 Pro. Realme 7 Pro will pack dual 2200mAh batteries resulting in a total battery capacity of 4400mAh. Realme 7 Pro with model number RMX2170 had appeared on NBTC a couple of weeks ago. Realme 7 Pro features the power button on the right side while volume rockers can be found on the left side as per the FCC certification documents.

Realme 7i, which goes by the model number RMX2103, on the other hand, will feature a 4890mAh battery. It was earlier spotted on NBTC, TKDN, 3C revealing a similar size battery with 18W charging support. FCC documents have also revealed the presence of NFC on the device, and the device will be 164.1mm in height and 75.5mm in width, going by these dimensions, it looks like the Realme 7i might be around 7.1-inch in size. FCC images have also revealed a dual antenna set up on the device. Additionally, both these smartphones will run Android 10 based Realme UI 1.0 similar to every other Realme smartphone.

Going by the teasers are promotional banners it looks like Realme will not be launching Realme 7i in the upcoming 3rd September event, but it should launch in India, maybe at a later time, since it has already received BIS certification. Last week, detailed specifications of Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro had surfaced on the web revealing the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G on the Realme 7 Pro and MediaTek Helio G95 on the Realme 7. One of the major changes on the Realme 7 Pro compared to its predecessor is the presence of an AMOLED display compared by LCD but it might be a 60Hz.
