Realme is all set to launch the Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro in India later today. These handsets in the last few days already had appeared on multiple certifications and benchmark listings. We even saw Realme confirming a few aspects of these devices. The Realme 8 4G model was certified by NBTC a few days back, which carried model number as the RMX3085. Now in the latest development, the Realme 8 5G version has gained the required NBTC and BIS certification ahead of today’s launch in India. Realme 8 5G (RMX3241) Spotted on NBTC and BIS Certification

The Realme 8 5G moniker is now confirmed by the NBTC certification. The device is listed with model number RMX3241 on the NBTC website. Apart from this, the Realme 5G model even has appeared on India’s BIS certification as well, which carries model numbers as the RMX3241 and RMX3242. If we go by the rumoured specs of the Realme 8, it is expected to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. Under the hood, the 4G Realme 8 model is said to ship with MediaTek’s Helio G85 processor. The phone might be available in 4GB/6GB RAM options with 64GB/ 128GB internal storage.

On the software front, the Realme 8 might run Android 11 out of the box. The device is supposed to feature a quad-camera setup, which shall include a 64MP main primary camera. Powering the smartphone is said to be a 5000mAh battery that will offer a 30W fast-charging support. The past leak suggest us that the phone could be available in two colours option that include: Cyber Silver and Black.  According to the early Flipkart listing, the Realme 8 will go on sale on March 25th in India.


As far as the specs of the Realme 8 Pro go, it is even considered to launch both in 4G and 5G versions. It is expected to sport an AMOLED display, which shall offer a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the 4G model is said to come with Snapdragon 720G SoC, whereas the 5G version could pack a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor.
