Realme has launched the Realme 8 5G in India. The smartphone joins the list of affordable 5G smartphones in India under Rs 20,000. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. The phone packs a massive 5000 mAh battery. It supports 18W fast charging. On the back of the device is a triple-camera setup. It has a 48MP primary camera setup. Unlike the 4G variant, the display is an LCD and comes with 90Hz refresh rate support. The device comes in 4GB and 8GB RAM storage options. Realme 8 5G price in India
The smartphone comes in two storage configurations with 128GB storage as standard. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 14,999. Realme has launched the device with 8GB RAM as well for Rs 16,999. It comes in two colours – Supersonic Blue and Supersonic Black.
The device goes on sale starting April 28 via Flipkart, Realme.com, and other retail channels.

The Realme 8 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. The screen has a tiny hole-punch cutout for the front camera. It has 600 nits of brightness and comes with 90Hz refresh rate support.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC for 5G network support. The processor is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone also features Dynamic RAM Expansion technology, which converts storage into virtual RAM.
On the back is a triple-camera setup. The device has a 48MP primary camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It also features a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera sensor.
The phone runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. It weighs 185 grams and is 8.5mm thick.
