Realme launched the Realme 8 along with the Realme 8 Pro at an event in India last month. Within a week of launch, Realme rolled out a new update for Realme 8 Pro with a new camera feature, and April Android security patch. Now, the company has started rolling out a new update for Realme 8 smartphone users in India. Realme 8 update comes as RMX3085_11.A.08, and it brings a new camera feature – Starry mode to the Realme 8. Apart from it, the update brings several camera optimizations along with touch optimization to the device. let us take a detailed look at what the update has in store for Realme 8 users.

Realme 8 April 2021 Update brings Camera, and Touch Optimizations

Realme has optimized the image quality for the 64MP shots and has also fixed the noise issue in the photos that are shot with the rear shooters. The company has worked on the colors and brightness for the Night mode. Realme has optimized the image quality of the front camera, and has also fixed the oversaturation issue for the front camera. Realme 8 Specifications and Features

Realme 8 is the first device in the Realme number series to feature an AMOLED display. It features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The screen features 60Hz refresh rate support and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Other display specs include 1000 nits of peak brightness, in-display fingerprint scanner, etc.

On the back is a quad-camera setup. The phone comes with a 64MP primary camera sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. It also comes with a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It comes with 4GB, 6GB, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The performance unit also includes a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC.
