
Realme has launched new mid-range smartphones in India. The company has unveiled Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. The two Realme smartphones come with 4G network support. The 8 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. It also comes with a quad-camera setup on the back. Both smartphones have a Super AMOLED display. However, there is no 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate support on either device. The vanilla 8 gets powered by a MediaTek processor under the hood. It comes with a quad-camera setup on the back as well. Realme 8 Pro price in India
Realme has launched the 8 Pro in two storage options. The price of the 6GB + 128GB storage option is set at Rs 17,999. The higher storage option with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 19,999.
It comes in Illuminating Yellow and Infinite Black colour options.

The vanilla Realme 8 is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB + 128GB storage option. The device also comes in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage options. The two variants are priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. It is available in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black colours.
The Realme 8 Pro and vanilla 8 will go on sale on March 25 i.e. tomorrow, respectively. The Realme 8 Series will be available on Realme.com and Flipkart.
Realme 8 Pro specifications
The 8 Pro features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. It has a Full HD+ resolution display with 60Hz refresh rate support. The screen has a 180Hz touch sampling rate and 1000 nits of peak brightness. The Pro Realme phone has a hole-punch display and thin bezels. This has resulted in a 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The device weighs 176 grams and is 8.1mm thick.
Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. The processor is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. Realme has packed a 4,500 mAh battery in the 8 Pro. It supports 50W fast charging out of the box.
The rear panel of the device houses a quad-camera setup. There is a 108MP primary camera, paired with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and two 2MP sensors for macro and depth sensing. The device has a 16MP front camera for video calls and selfies. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box.
