Realme has officially confirmed the Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i India launch date. The company will be launching the Realme 8s 5G and the Realme 8i in India on September 9 at 12:30 PM. The Realme 8s 5G will be the first device to make use of MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 chipset. The Realme 8s 5G will be available in India through Flipkart. The e-commerce portal has already made the microsite live ahead of the phone’s official launch. Speaking about the specifications of the Realme 8s 5G, the device is tipped to feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz display and a 64MP triple-camera setup. The smartphone is expected to pack up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the Realme 8i, it will be powered by Helio G96 SoC. The past leak reveals that the handset will come with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ 120Hz display, 4GB of RAM, and a 50MP triple-camera setup.

Realme 8s 5G, Realme 8i India Launch Date Revealed

As mentioned above, the company will debut the Realme 8s 5G smartphone in India on September 9th. The company’s CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed the launch date of the Realme 8s 5G through a Tweet. Additionally, Madhav Sheth also has confirmed that the handset will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 5G chipset. Talking about the expected specifications of the handset, the device is said to feature a 6.5-inch display. The display panel might offer a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to pack up to 8GB of RAM. Additionally, the device is said to have additional 5GB virtual RAM support for better multitasking. We can expect the Realme 8s 5G to run Android 11 out of the box. The smartphone might be available in 128GB/256GB storage options.

Moving onto the imaging aspect of the handset, it is said to feature a triple-camera setup. The rectangular-shaped camera module is tipped to include a 64MP primary main camera. The rear-facing cameras will be accompanied by a LED flash. Other features the device is expected to offer include a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. A 5000mAh battery is said to fuel the device which might have a 33W Dart fast-charging support. As far as the specifications of the Realme 8i go, the device is said to feature a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is supposed to pack 4GB of RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.2) of internal storage. The Realme 8i is confirmed to come with a Helio G96 chipset. The smartphone is rumoured to feature a 50MP main camera. The 50MP primary sensor might be accompanied by a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera. For selfie purpose, the phone is expected to feature a 16MP camera. The device might draw power from a 5000mAh battery.

Alongside the Realme 8s 5G and the Realme 8i, the company might also announce the Realme Pad at the same event. The Realme Pad is supposed to feature a 10.4-inch AMOLED display. It is tipped to have a aluminium unibody construction. As for the optics purpose, the tablet might feature an 8MP camera on the back and front side.
