Realme 9 4G Launched in India with Snapdragon 680 SoC, 90Hz Super AMOLED Display: Price, Specifications

Realme has just launched a new Realme 9 series phone in India called the Realme 9 4G. This is the sixth device in the Realme 9 lineup after the launch of  Realme 9 5GRealme 9 5G SERealme 9 Pro 5GRealme Pro+ 5G, and Realme 9i. Among all the Realme 9 series phones, this is only the second 4G phone after the Realme 9i.

The Realme 9i is priced under Rs 20,000 and it will compete against the Redmi Note lineup and also the iQoo Z series phones. Some of the key features of the device include a Super AMOLED display, a higher refresh rate screen, a large battery, fast charging and the world’s first Samsung ISOCELL HM6 camera. Realme 9 Price in India and Availability

The Realme 9 4G or the vanilla Realme 9 will be available in two storage options. The base variant with 6GB RAM is priced at Rs 17,999 (Rs 15,999 for first sale) and the 8GB+128GB model costs Rs 18,999 (Rs 16,999 for first sale). The phone will go on sale starting April 12 at 12 noon via Flipkart. It will be available in three colour options 一 Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White, and Meteor Black.

Realme 9: Specifications and Features

The Realme 9 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. In addition, the screen also comes with a 360Hz sampling rate, up to 1000 nits peak brightness, 1024 level brightness adjustment, and an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is also capable of checking the heart rate.

The star of the show here is the rear camera on the Realme 9. The phone will come with a triple rear camera setup led by a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, which is making its debut on the phone. This sensor is rated to take 123% more light intake and offer a brighter picture with less noise. Further, the device will come with an 8MP 120-degree wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. To the front, rumours suggest the handset will boast a 16MP selfie snapper.

The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 4G processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU. You get up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the inside, the phone is backed by a large 5,000mAh battery on the inside and supports 33W fast charging. In terms of software, the phone runs on Android 12 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top of it.

Other features of the device include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Hi-Res certification, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 7.99mm thick and 178 grams in weight.
