The Realme 9 5G is said to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the handset will be an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor which is built on a 6nm fabrication process and brings with it an integrated Mali G57 GPU. This is the same processor that powers several other mid-range handsets such as Redmi Note 11T 5G, POCO M4 Pro 5G, and Realme 8s 5G.
The Realme 9 5G will offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 48MP primary shooter. The high-resolution sensor on the smartphone will be accompanied by a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it is said to offer a 16MP shooter. The handset will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and 18W fast charging support. It will come preloaded with Android 12, but as usual, there will be Realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
The handset will offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a stereo speaker setup. It will be available in two memory options – 6GB and 8GB. In terms of storage, users will have an option to choose between 64GB and 128GB of onboard storage.
Realme is yet to announce the Realme 9 5G launch date. However, we shouldn’t be surprised if the company unveils it alongside the Realme 9 Pro series devices next week.
