Realme, back in February, announced its plan to launch the Realme 9 Pro+ Limited Edition in collaboration with Free Fire – a popular battle royale game. Now, the company is all set to launch the Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition handset in Thailand. As per an announcement, the Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition will make its global debut on the April 12. Ahead of the launch, Realme, via social media teasers, has also unveiled the first look of the upcoming limited edition handset.
The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition will carry Free Fire and Realme branding. There will also be Booyah! text written on the left side of the rear camera module. The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition is expected to come with cosmetic changes only and we may not see any under the hood changes. The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition appears to have a Grey colour finish. The Free Fire branding can be seen in the bottom center of the back panel. Whereas the Realme branding will be placed in the center of the back panel. Besides the camera module, Booyah text can also be seen.

The Realme 9 Pro+ offers a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a punch hole notch, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the handset sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, Mali-G68 GPU, and up to 8GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, the handset offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 32MP front shooter. The Realme 9 Pro+ is backed by a 4500mAh battery unit and supports 65W fast charging.
