Realme, a couple of weeks ago, announced the Android 13 Early Access roadmap for the Indian market. The company has already rolled out Android 13 update for the Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme GT 2, Realme GT Neo 3, and Realme GT Neo 150W as a part of the early access program. Now, the brand has announced the Realme 9 Pro+ Android 13 early access program for Indian users. Realme took it to the Realme Community to make a formal announcement for the same.
The Realme 9 Pro+ was announced earlier this year and is the company’s most costliest number series device to date. Also, the Realme 9 Pro+ is the first mid-range device from the manufacturer to get Android 13. Realme has posted a set to prerequisites and application procedure, let us take a closer look.
Realme 9 Pro+ Android 13 Early Access: Application Procedure
Realme 9 Pro+ users who have updated their devices to RMX3392_11.A.12 or RMX3392_11.A.13 are eligible to apply for the Android 13 Early Access program. Such users can head over to Settings → Software Update → Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner → Trial Version → Apply Now → Submit your details and finish the quiz to apply for the program.
Realme says that users must ensure that they have at least 5GB of free storage on their devices. Also, the device must have at least 60% battery when upgrading to the Realme 9 Pro+ Android 13 early access build. Since this is an early-access build, do not expect it to be as polished as the stable versions of the Realme UI. As a result, users might face some bugs which can affect the system stability as well as the battery life on their units.
Readers must note that this is an early access build, so it will take about 2-3 months before the company rolls out stable update for the smartphone.
