Realme 9 4G Said to Come With 108MP HM6 Camera: Everything We Know So Far

Realme has confirmed the launch of a new number series smartphone. The company has confirmed that it will launch a new Realme 9 series smartphone without revealing the official moniker. Rumours suggest that the device will simply be called the Realme 9 4G or something like the 9 SuperZoom. While we wait for the official launch details, a new leak has revealed the device’s design and other details.

Tipster Mukul Sharma, aka Stufflistings, has leaked the rear panel design of the upcoming Realme smartphone. The image confirms the phone’s camera setup details and the colour option as well. Let’s take a look at the upcoming Realme 9 4G design, specifications and other details known so far.

Realme 9 Series Device Look Revealed

Realme is gearing up to expand its mid-range portfolio in India with the launch of a new smartphone under the 9 series. The exact launch date of the phone remains unknown at the moment. Realme has confirmed that the phone will launch in India in April 2022. It has also confirmed that the device will feature a 108MP main camera sensor.

MySmartPrice had exclusively reported about the Realme 9 4G being spotted on the company’s official website. Our source had also informed us about the 108MP main camera sensor on the upcoming Realme 9 4G. The upcoming Realme smartphone will come with a 108MP Samsung HM6 ISOCELL sensor, which is claimed to capture up to 123 per cent more light than the HM2 sensor.

Other details of the phone were not revealed officially. However, tipster Mukul Sharma has leaked an image that shows the device’s rear panel. It sports a triple-camera setup on the back. The camera module has two large circular cutouts and the third one is placed on the side. The LED flash is also located inside the camera module. Details about the other two sensors remain unknown at the moment.

The image also reveals that the device will launch with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. It will have the volume keys on the left edge, meaning that the power button will be on the right side. It is unknown if the device will offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The device will debut in a Sunburst Gold colour. According to previous leaks, there will be two more colour options. These will be called Meteor Black, and Stargaze White. The upcoming Realme smartphone will also pack a  5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It will feature a 16MP front camera sensor.
