Realme 9i 5G Confirmed to Feature 90Hz Display, 5000mAh Battery; Realme C33 Gets Multiple Certifications

Realme is gearing up for the launch of the 9i 5G soon. The device will be a 5G variant of the 9i 4G, which was launched earlier this year in India. Realme has teased the design and confirmed some key specs of the upcoming 5G smartphone. The 9i 5G will be a budget 5G smartphone and is expected to be priced at around Rs 15,000 in India.

Ahead of the official launch, Realme has dropped two new teasers about its new 5G smartphone. The 9i 5G is confirmed to feature a 90Hz display. The teaser image also confirms that the phone will sport a water-drop notch at the top of the display. Realme is likely to offer the phone with an IPS LCD. The chin is slightly thick compared to other bezels around the phone’s display.

The event microsite further reveals that the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom edge. The phone has volume keys on the left, whereas the power button with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is on the right edge.

The 9i 5G is also confirmed to feature a 5000 mAh battery pack. Realme also confirmed that the phone will support a 180Hz touch sampling rate and pack a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. The phone is rumoured to feature a 50MP main camera and two 2MP sensors. It will measure 8.1mm and come in a Beige Gold colour option. The phone is also rumoured to launch in a Black colour option.

Realme 9i 5G, Realme C33 Spotted on Multiple Certification Websites

Ahead of their official launch, the Realme 9i 5G and C33 have been spotted on multiple certification websites. The 9i 5G has been spotted by PriceBaba on the FCC, EEC and NBTC websites. It reveals that the phone weighs 187 grams and will pack 6GB of RAM. The phone also runs Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of Realme UI 3.0 on top.

The C33, on the other hand, will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. The phone will also sport a dual-camera setup on the back. It will launch with connectivity features such as LTE, Bluetooth, 2.4GHz WiFi, and NFC.

Recently leaked details revealed that the phone will launch in India in three storage options – 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. The phone will also launch in Sandy God, Aqua Blue, and Night Sea colours.
