Realme has launched the Realme 9i 5G in Inia today. This is the company’s new affordable 5G smartphone with a unique design. For those who are unaware, the Realme 9i was launched in India back in January with Snapdragon 680 SoC, 33W fast charging, and more.

The newly launched Realme 9i is the 5G version and it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity series 5G processor. Along with the launch of the Realme 9i 5G smartphone, the company also unveiled the Realme TechLife Buds T100 TWS. Realme 9i 5G: Price in India, Availability

The Realme 9i starts at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant and the 6GB+128GB variant costs Rs 16,999. The phone will come in Soulful Blue, Rocking Black, and Metallica Gold colour options. The device will go on sale starting August 24th via Flipkart, Realme.com, and Realme stores.

Buyers can avail Rs 1,000 discount with ICICI bank and HDFC bank cards during the first sale.

Realme 9i 5G: Specifications and Features

The Realme 9i 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, 90Hz screen refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The phone has a max brightness of 400 nits. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which is said to be 20% faster compared to the Dimensity 700 SoC. This SoC is built on a 6nm process and has a max clock speed of 2.4GHz.

The 9i 5G is available in two configurations 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB options. In the camera department, the device comes with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP main camera, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The phone runs on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.

The phone’s design is also one of the key features here. The Realme 9i 5G comes with a true unibody design with fuselage-integrated camera housing and this is also Realme’s first 3-layer grain process in this segment. The phone is just 8.1mm thick and weighs 187 grams.

The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi, a dedicated microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.2.
