Realme 9i 5G Specifications Tipped Ahead of India Launch
The sides and back of the Realme 9i 5G will be constructed of plastic, while the phone itself will be available in Gold and Black colour variants. The images show that the rear of the phone has a glossy finish, which Realme refers to as “Laser Light Design,” which is inspired by vintage CD design.
The Realme 9i 5G will be built around a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display that refreshes at 90Hz and has a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Realme has opted for a V-shaped water-drop notch to house the front-facing selfie camera.
Fueling the smartphone would be MediaTek’s 6nm-based Dimensity 810 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz. Realme has picked a triple camera system on the back, with a 50MP primary lens, a 2MP portrait lens, and the third lens for 4cm Macro shots, all combined with a LED flash. The Realme 9i will include an 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
The report suggests that the handset will be backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast wired charging. The Realme 9i 5G will boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. The smartphone is believed to debut in two storage configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB.
The phone also has a physical fingerprint scanner on the side that also serves as the power button, a single main speaker, a USB Type-C connection for charging and data transfer, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a microphone array. There is also a microSD card slot for memory expansion of up to 1TB.
