Realme 9i is launching on January 10th in Vietnam. The Realme 9i is the first handset under the Realme 9 series. Ahead of the Vietnam launch, Madhav Sheth, Vice President, Realme, has posted a new teaser on his Twitter account. Though Sheth didn’t mention Realme 9i in his tweet, the teaser image showcases the 9i in Prism Blue color variant alongside Realme Book Slim. Recently, the promotional material for the upcoming handset was leaked on the web. The leaked promo material reveals the complete specifications of the Realme 9i.
Realme 9i Specifications and Features
The 9i will flaunt a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 2412 × 1080 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It will come with a punch-hole notch which will reside on the top left corner of the display. The handset will feature a bezel-less design with about a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the 9i will be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that is built on a 6nm fabrication process. The Snapdragon 680 makes use of ARM Cortex A73, and Cortex A53 cores. It comes with Adreno 610 GPU. The Realme 9i will offer 128GB of storage.
In terms of optics, the 9i will offer a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The camera module design on the device looks very similar to that of the Realm GT Neo 2 and Realme GT 2. The primary shooter on the device will be a 50MP sensor which will be accompanied by a B&W portrait lens and a macro lens. For selfies, it will offer a 16MP shooter.
The handset will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W DartCharge. It will offer a Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a stereo speaker setup. The handset will retail in Prism Blue and Prism Black color variants. It will come preloaded with the company’s proprietary Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11.
