Realme A1 To Be Positioned Below Realme U1 in India

Going by the previous reports about the Realme A1, it is expected to be another budget phone from the company. It will be positioned lower than the Realme U1, which was the second most affordable Realme phone until now, Realme C1 being the cheapest. The Realme A1 will be more affordable than the Realme U1, so we may see it being positioned between the Realme C1 and U1.

The reports have also revealed that the Realme A1 may debut in Black and Yellow color options. For now, we don’t really have a specific price range for the phone, but it may fall closer to the INR 10,000 price mark. Until now, Realme has launched phones under the 15K price segment, making it rival other brands like Xiaomi and Asus.

Concerning the software advancement on the Realme phones, the Realme A1 will launch with Android 9 Pie while the other Realme phones such as the Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1, and the Realme U1, will get the Android 9.0 Pie update in the first quarter of 2019.

We don’t know when the company has planned to launch the Realme A1, but our best bet would be the sometime around January 2019. What’s your take on the Realme A1? Are you looking forward to its launch? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
