Realme, earlier today, announced that it will launch the Realme Buds Q2 TWS soon in India. To recall, the Realme Buds Q2 made their global debut a couple of months back in Pakistan. The Realme Buds Q2 micro-site went live on Realme.com revealing that the upcoming TWS will offer Active Noise Cancellation. The Realme Buds Q2 introduced in Pakistan, and Malaysia doesn’t offer ANC. However, there is another pair of Realme TWS that looks like Realme Buds Q2, and supports ANC – the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo. This leads us to believe that the company could launch the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo as Realme Buds Q2 in India.

The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo features a 10mm LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) bass boost driver with Bass Boost+ algorithm. It features ANC up to 25db along with a transparency mode. The Buds Air 2 Neo features a dual-microphone setup that enables ENC for calls.  There is also an 88ms super low-latency gaming mode onboard.

The Buds Air 2 Neo is powered by an in-house R2 chip, and a 480mAh battery. It provides a music playback of up to 20 hours on a single charge. With 10 minutes charge, the Buds Air 2 can deliver up to 3 hours of music playback, due to the fast charging feature. The Buds Air 2 Neo is also IPX5 certified, so it can be used during workout sessions.

Realme, with Realme Buds Air 2, brought the price almost 25% down compared to its predecessor. To recall, the Realme Buds Air 2 costs Rs. 3,299 in India, while the Realme Buds Air was priced at Rs. 3999. Due to this Realme may not have enough price gap to introduce a Neo variant this time around, and thus it might launching Buds Air 2 Neo, and Buds Q2 in the country.

Last month, a report had suggested that the Realme Buds Q2 India price will be Rs. 2,499, a 25% price jump compared to the predecessor. This also hints that the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo might launch as Realme Buds Q2 in the country, since the Buds Air 2 Neo cost RMB 249 (approx. Rs. 2,850) in China.
