Realme C2 Variants, Prices, Offers, and Specifications

Realme C2 Price, Offers, Availability

The Realme C2 comes in two variants. The first variant has 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, and it costs INR 5,999. The second variant has 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and it costs INR 7,999.

The Realme C2 will go on sale starting from 12 PM on 15th May. It will be available to purchase from Flipkart and Realme online store. The brand has announced that the device will be available to purchase from offline stores as well, but it hasn’t announced precisely from when.

As the Realme C2 is an affordable smartphone, it doesn’t come with many offers. The brand is offering INR 5,300 worth benefits from Jio. And that is all you get.

Realme C2 Specifications

Most smartphones that we see nowadays feature a larger sized display than their predecessor. Surprisingly, that isn’t the case with the Realme C2. It has a 6.1-inch display, which is smaller compared to the 6.2-inch display that its predecessor, Realme C1 has. The display of the Realme C2, however, comes with a smaller, V-shaped notch, instead of the traditional, large-sized notch that the Realme C1 has. The display of the Realme C2 uses IPS LCD technology, and it has HD+ resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device does not feature any kind of display protection, but one shouldn’t even expect it at this price point.

The Realme C2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. This chipset is built on the 12nm manufacturing process, and it features an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked up to 2.0GHz, and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. As I mentioned earlier, the Realme C2 comes in two configurations – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The device runs on Android 9 Pie operating system, and it comes with the Realme’s all-new Color OS 6.0.

The Realme C2 has a dual-camera setup at the back. It includes a 13MP main camera sensor and 2MP depth sensor. The camera setup features Chroma Boost mode, which basically boosts the colors to make the image more attractive. The rear camera can record Full HD videos. And it even features 80 frames per second slow-motion video recording at 640 x 480 resolution. As far as I can recall, no other smartphone in this price range offers a slow-motion video recording, making the Realme C2 the only device to do so. The front-facing camera is a 5MP unit, and according to Realme, it features AI-assistance.

While most entry-level smartphones have around 3000mAh battery capacity, the Realme C2 comes with a massive, 4000mAh battery. And in my opinion, it is a great feature for a smartphone of this price. Realme says that the battery features AI-assistance, which according to the brand should help in maximizing the battery life. As for the connectivity, the Realme C2 offers more than any smartphone in its price range. The device has triple-slot (two SIM card slots, and one microSD card slot), dual-4G, dual-VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, microUSB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The Realme C2 lacks one thing though, and that’s the fingerprint scanner.
