The Realme C51 has been listed on the official Reaklme website in Africa after being launched in Taiwan a few weeks ago. The brand appears to be gradually rolling out the new C-series smartphone worldwide. It has already been tipped that the new smartphone will launch in India in the coming days. The smartphone, which comes in Carbon Black and Mint Green colours, is rumoured to be priced under Rs 10,000 in India. Let’s take a look at all the specifications and designs of the upcoming budget smartphone from Realme.

Realme C51 Launched in Africa and Taiwan: Price, Availability

Currently, there’s no word on the smartphone’s pricing in Africa for the lone 8GB + 128GB variant listed on the website. But in Taiwan, the smartphone is priced at NT$ 3,990, which is around Rs 10,430 for the single 4GB + 64GB model. We will get to know the Indian pricing of the smartphone soon.

The Realme C51 has a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 560 nits peak brightness. Powering the smartphone is a 12nm UNISOC T612 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 GPU.

While the smartphone is listed in Africa with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, in Taiwan, it launched with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. A leak suggested that the Realme C51 will launch in India with 4GB RAM with 4GB virtual RAM, and 64GB storage with up to 2TB microSD card support.

In the camera department, the Realme C51 features a dual rear camera setup. The setup comprises of 50-megapixel primary camera accompanied by a depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel selfie camera with Portrait Mode, Beauty Mode, HDR, face recognition, Filter, Bokeh Effect Control, etc. 

The budget smartphone boots the Realme UI T Edition with Android 13 at its base. Powering the smartphone is a beefy 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm audio jack, and more. For security, the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone weighs 186g and measures 167.2×76.7×7.99mm.

As of now, there is no official word from Realme about when the C51 will come to the Indian subcontinent. However, we can expect it to launch in India by next month with a competitive price tag.
