Realme C55 India Price, RAM and Storage Options Tipped; Live Images Reveal Design and Specifications

Realme will launch a new budget smartphone called the C55 soon in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the C55 in the country on March 21. Realme has been teasing its upcoming C-series phone, which will feature a dynamic island-like feature found in the iPhone 14 Pro models. The company has already launched the phone in Indonesia. Ahead of its India debut, a new leak has revealed all the key specifications of the C55.

Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has uploaded the specifications and live images of the phone. In addition to this, Ambhore also added some details about the phone’s price and storage options. Realme C55 India Launch: What You Need to Know

The Realme C55 will launch as one of the new budget smartphones in India on March 21. Ahead of the launch, the phone’s design has leaked. The live images uploaded by Ambhore confirm that the C55 will feature a flat frame design. The phone has two circular cutouts on the back. There is a dual camera setup with an LED flash. On the front, the phone has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. While the top and side bezels are fairly narrow, the chin is comparatively thick.

The live image also confirms some key specifications of the phone. The C55 will have a 64MP main camera sensor. The secondary camera will house a 2MP sensor, which could be for depth sensing or macro photography. 

The hole-punch cutout will house an 8MP front camera sensor. In terms of battery life, the C55 will have a standard 5000mAh cell, which is found in several Realme phones. It will support 33W fast charging out of the box.

The device will have up to 16GB of RAM, which will be a combination of up to 8GB of RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM. Tipster Ambhore claimed that the phone will launch in India with three storage options. The base model will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There will be a 4GB RAM variant with 128GB storage as well. The top-end storage option will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone is said to sport a 6.72-inch tall IPS LCD panel. It will have a Full HD+ resolution with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The device will launch in India in three colour options — Rainforest, Rainy Night & Sunshower.

According to Ambhore, the C55 will draw power from a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. The phone will also boot Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for AI face unlock.
