After launching the Realme C33 2023 last week, Realme has now launched yet another C-series smartphone – the Realme C55 in the Indian market. To recall, the Realme C55 was introduced earlier this month in Indonesia and is the brand’s first smartphone with the Mini Capsule feature.

Realme’s Mini Capsule feature is quite similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island (available on iPhone 14 Pro series smartphones) and displays charging status, battery status, and data usage status. The Realme C55 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor and a 5000mAh battery. It offers a 90Hz LCD display and a 64MP camera setup. Realme C55: Price in India and Availability

The Realme C55 price in India is Rs 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The smartphone also comes in a 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB configuration options which are priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. Realme has partnered with ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank to provide up to Rs 1000 discount on the purchase of Realme C55.

The Realme C55 will go on sale starting March 28 exclusively via Flipkart and Realme Store. It will be available for pre-order starting at 6:30 PM, today (March 21).

Realme C55: Specifications and Features

The Realme C55 features a 90Hz LCD display with a Full HD+ (1080 × 2400 pixel) resolution and 680nits peak brightness. The display panel measures 6.52 inches in size, supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and has a centered punch-hole notch.

Powering the Realme C55 is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It is fabricated on a 12nm manufacturing process and comes paired with a Mali G52 GPU. The handset packs up to 128GB of onboard storage and up to 8GB of RAM. It comes pre-loaded with Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0.

The Realme C55 offers a dual-rear camera setup that gets accompanied by an LED flash. It consists of a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front shooter is also available on the device which deals with selfies and video calls.

The Realme C55 comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It features a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is embedded into the power button. It also offers a 3.5mm audio jack and has a dedicated microSD card slot as well.

The Realme C55 comes in Sunshower and Rainy Night colour options. It weighs 189.5 grams and measures 165.6 × 75.9 × 7.89mm. In terms of connectivity, it features support for Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou.
