Realme has finally launched its C-series smartphone – the Realme C55 in Indonesia. The Realme C55 is the company’s first smartphone with the Mini Capsule feature which is an implementation similar to the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island. The Mini Capsule displays charging status, battery status, data usage status, and some fitness data. The latest C-series smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor and up to 8GB of memory.

The Realme C55 offers a 90Hz LCD display and packs a 64MP rear shooter. The smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit. Other highlights of the device include 33W SuperVOOC charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated microSD card slot. Realme C55: Price and Availability

The Realme C55 comes in two configuration options – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The Realme C55 in 6GB + 128GB configuration is priced at Rp 2,499,000 (approx Rs 13,300). Whereas, the Realme C55 8GB + 256GB configuration variant will retail for Rp 2,999,000 (approx Rs 16,000).

The Realme C55 will be available for purchase starting tomorrow (March 8) in Indonesia. There is no word on Realme C55 India availability yet. However, we can expect it to launch in the coming days in the Indian market as well.

Realme C55: Specifications and Features

The all-new Realme C55 flaunts a 6.52-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ (1080 × 2400 pixel) resolution, 680nits peak brightness, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel makes room for the selfie shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch.

Under the hood, the latest C-series smartphone sports an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G52 GPU. It comes paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Users also get an option to expand the memory further (up to 8GB) with the extended RAM feature. The smartphone boots Realme UI 4.0, based on Android 13.

The all-new Realme C55 comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary shooter. It gets accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and an LED flash. The selfies and video calls on the C-series handset are taken care of by an 8MP shooter.

The latest C-series smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit. It supports 33W SuperVOOC charging over a Type-C charging port. On the security front, it packs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which also doubles as the power button. The smartphone also offers a dedicated micro-SD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Realme C55 comes in two colour options – Sunshower and Rainy Night. It measures 165.6 × 75.9 × 7.89mm and weighs 189.5 grams. Connectivity options of the handset include Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou.
