Realme latest launch the C55 smartphone had a much-hyped Mini Capsule feature which is similar to iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island. The phone was launched in March and has been available in two colours since then, Sunshower and Rainy Night. The company has now introduced a new colour option for the device in India.

Realme has launched a new colour option for the C55 in India called the Rainforest. The new colour has a greenish-blue shade. The brand says that this colour has been inspired by the Sunshower variant. The new colour resembles rain droplets, as per the brand.

Realme C55 Rainforest Sale Details and Price in India

The Rainforest variant of the C55 will go on sale on May 8 at 12 PM on Flipkart, Realme Store and via offline retail partners.

The Realme C55 comes in three storage configurations – 4GB + 64GB variant priced at Rs 10,999, 6GB + 64GB variant priced at Rs 11,999 and 8GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs 13,999.

The company further revealed that it sold over 100,000 units of the C55 within the first 5 hours of its sale and received more than 66,000 pre-orders.

Realme C55: Specifications and Features

The Realme C55 sports a 6.52-inch display with a Full HD+ (1080 × 2400 pixel) resolution and 680nits peak brightness. It features a 90Hz LCD display and supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate. On the front, it has a centered punch-hole notch to house the selfie camera

The device gets powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It is fabricated on a 12nm manufacturing process and comes paired with a Mali G52 GPU. The handset packs up to 128GB of onboard storage and up to 8GB of RAM. It comes pre-loaded with Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0.

It sports a dual-rear camera setup that gets accompanied by an LED flash. The device consists of a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front shooter is also available on the device which deals with selfies and video calls.

The Realme C55 comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It features a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is embedded into the power button. It also offers a 3.5mm audio jack and has a dedicated microSD card slot as well.

The Realme C55 comes in Sunshower and Rainy Night colour options. It weighs 189.5 grams and measures 165.6 × 75.9 × 7.89mm. In terms of connectivity, it features support for Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou.
