Realme CEO Madhav Sheth Confirmed Over 100 AIoT Products To Launch Next Year

Realme is among the fastest-growing companies in India and other parts of the world. After becoming an independent smartphone company, the Oppo spin-off has launched several AIoT-based products in the Indian market. This includes smartwatches, smart TVs, truly wireless earbuds (TWS), a smart camera, a smart plug, etc. The company has bigger plans for 2021. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will launch over 100 AIoT products in 2021. In an interview with IANS, Sheth confirmed that Realme’s offering for the Indian market in 2021 will include affordable smart TVs, trimmers, TWS, etc. Let’s take a look at the key details related to Realme AIoT products launching in 2021 in India.

Realme to launch over 100 AIoT products in India in 2021

Realme has been launching several products in the Indian market. The company recently launched the Realme Watch S, Watch S Pro. It also launched the Buds Air Pro Master Edition at the same launch event.

In 2021, the company plans to launch over 100 AIoT and lifestyle products in India. This includes new TWS, affordable smart TVs, smart plugs, trimmers, smart bulbs, and more.

“Our fans will see a versatile and exciting AIoT product portfolio in the upcoming months. Realme aims to be No 1 in smart audio brand, including TWS and neckband and no 1 in smartwatch category,” Sheth told IANS.

Sheth confirmed the launch of next-generation Buds Air, Buds Q in 2021. The company has had a good run in the TWS space in India. In Q3 2020, it had a market share of 12 percent. The Buds Q and Buds Air Neo were among the top 5 best selling TWS in India.

The Realme Watch, on the other hand, was the most shipped device in India in the last two quarters, It had a market share of 21.3 percent in Q2 2020, and 24.1 percent in the following quarter.

The company’s CEO also confirmed the launch of the new smart TV. “In the festive season, we reached a record-breaking 190,000 units of smart TVs and were able to achieve two million sales of AIOT products. As a relatively new entrant in the AIOT space, we are finishing this year on a successful note,” Sheth added.

It will also enter the smart speaker space in India very soon. “Realme has received high demand for smart speakers from the users, so “we have started planning our product pipeline accordingly. You will see more launches from us soon,” he added.

The company plans to expand its offline presence in India by opening 300-500 exclusive Realme smart stores in the coming year.
