Realme is going to host a global launch event during the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 this month. The company is tipped to unveil its first smart TV during the said event. That, however, does not seem to be the only thing that we might see during the Realme event. The company’s European Twitter handle has recently posted a new teaser image that suggests that the company will announce a new 5G smartphone during its global event, come MWC.
Realme Will Announce a New 5G Smartphone During the MWC 2020, Could be the Realme X50 5G
As said, the company’s European branch has made the news official via Twitter. The tweet comes with the caption, “Hey MWC, it’s Realme! We are ready to be the 5G Populariser. Are you ready to leap into the 5G era with us?” This clearly suggests that the company will unveil a 5G product during the event. To confirm that it is indeed a smartphone that the company would unveil, the promotional poster helps, as it showcases a smartphone with the 5G text written underneath it. Above the smartphone, we can see the caption “New Player; Realme MWC debut”, which reconfirms that the device is indeed a new 5G device. By new, Realme could also be suggesting the global launch of the already launched Realme X50 5G smartphone, but the chances of that happening are highly unlikely. In case you are unaware, a new Realme smartphone with the model number Realme RMX2071 has already popped up on the AnTuTu benchmark website, which has confirmed that presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset in the device (Read: Realme’s Upcoming Smartphone With Snapdragon 865 Chipset Beats the Xiaomi Mi 10 Smartphone in AnTuTu Scores)
