Realme GT 2 Appears on Geekbench, to Feature Snapdragon 888 SoC, 12GB RAM

Realme is all set to launch the upcoming Realme GT 2 series devices in China on January 4th. The vanilla Realme GT 2 was earlier spotted on NBTC and EEC certification websites. Ahead of the launch, the Realme GT 2 with model number RMX3310 has now been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. The benchmark listing reveals that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Let us take a closer look at the details,

Realme GT with Snapdragon 888 Appears on Geekbench 5!

The upcoming Realme GT 2 visited the Geekbench benchmark database with model number RMX3310. The device scored about 1136 points in the single-core test. Whereas the score was 3381 points in the multi-core test on the Geekbench 5 test. Geekbench listing reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with codename lahaina and 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration. Going by these, it appears that the upcoming Realme GT will be powered by last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

Besides, the listing also reveals that Realme will offer the device in a 12GB RAM configuration. However, we can expect the company to launch it in other memory variants as well. The handset is now confirmed to boot Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top.

The RMX3310 was previously spotted on TENAA which revealed certain key specifications of the upcoming flagship device. As per the listing, the handset will sport a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The display panel will also house an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

The GT 2 might come with a triple rear camera system including a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP shooter (probably an ultra-wide-angle lens), and a 2MP camera. For selfies and video calls, the handset will offer a 16MP selfie camera. The device will be equipped with a dual cell 2,440mAh battery.
