It is speculated that the company’s next ultra-premium flagship will be called the GT 2 Pro. While there is no official announcement, the Realme flagship smartphone is expected to launch in Q1 of 2022. Adding to the leaks is a new report from 91Mobiles, which claims that the company has begun testing the flagship device. The report also claims that Realme GT 2 Pro will debut in early 2022, possibly during the first quarter itself. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT 2 Pro specs, features and other details.
Realme GT 2 Pro launch timeline tipped
Realme GT 2 Pro could be the company’s next ultimate flagship smartphone. It is expected to launch between January and March 2022. The 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Mukul Sharma, claims that the company has begun testing its pricier flagship device.
Some key details of the device had leaked previously. It is rumoured to sport a 6.51-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen. The display will support a 120Hz refresh rate and will have a Full HD+ resolution. However, if the device will be an ultra-premium offering, Realme could take a leap and launch it with a QHD+ resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood will be a Snapdragon 898 SoC. It is likely to be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is also said to pack a 5000 mAh battery. Realme has confirmed that its next year’s flagship will have support for 125W fast charging. We can expect the GT 2 Pro to feature the ultra-fast charging tech.
On the back, the phone is rumoured to feature a 108MP triple-camera setup. It will have an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro sensor. On the contrary, another report claimed that the device will have a 50MP primary camera sensor. For selfies, the device will sport a 32MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the display.
