Over the past few weeks, the Realme GT 2 series has become one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of the season. Recently, the company confirmed the GT 2 Series features like bio-polymer material, ultrawide camera with a 150-degree field of view, and 360° NFC technology. After a bunch of teasers on the social media platform and a few official feature announcements, the company has finally announced the launch date of the Realme GT 2 Series in China. Realme GT 2 Launch Date Confirmed
The Realme GT 2 Series is confirmed to feature the GT 2 Pro smartphone and along with the Pro version, we are also expecting the vanilla Realme GT 2. On the Chinese social media website, Weibo, the company has confirmed the official launch date, January 4. The event will be held at 7:30 PM local time which is 5 PM IST. The launch teaser also confirms the device to be a flagship phone. 
Realme GT 2 Series Specs
The Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. The device will be loaded with a 6.8-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The phone is also said to feature a 125W fast charging solution, which will be the first commercial phone from Realme. Out of the box, the GT 2 Pro will run on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. The device could feature a 50MP main sensor tagged along with a 50MP ultra-wide lens with 150-degree FoV and a third sensor with 8MP resolution. OIS feature is also expected here.
On the other hand, a new Realme GT series phone was spotted a few days back, which is likely the Realme GT 2. The Realme GT 2 is expected to flaunt a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 888 SoC with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. In terms of optics, the phone is said to feature a 50MP primary lens, a secondary 8MP shooter and a 2MP camera. which could be either a macro or a depth sensor. The phone is also said to feature a 65W fast charging solution and a 5,000mAh battery. Realme has worked with designer Naoto Fukasawa for its flagship smartphone’s design.
