Realme GT 3 Launch in India Officially Teased; Could Support 240W Fast Charging

Realme might launch a new premium smartphone soon. The company has confirmed to launch the GT Neo 5 in China on February 9. The device will be a premium smartphone and offer support for 240W fast charging out of the box. The Realme GT Neo 5 will be the world’s fastest charging smartphone. The company is likely to launch the phone in other markets as well. Realme, meanwhile, has teased the launch of the Realme GT 3. The company took to Twitter to tease the launch of its new flagship smartphone in India.

The GT 3 will launch as a successor to the GT 2, which was launched in India on February 28, 2022 alongside the GT 2 Pro. Realme teased the launch of the upcoming GT series phone by mentioning the launch dates of the GT 5G and GT 2 5G. The teaser tweet suggests that the GT 3 India launch event might be hosted very soon.


Realme GT 3 India Launch Officially Teased

The Realme GT 3 will be the company’s next premium smartphone offering for the Indian market. It is expected to launch soon in India. The official teaser does not mention the date just yet. However, we can expect the company to make the device available in the Indian market in the coming weeks. The phone could launch in India by February end or March 2023.

Realme has not revealed any details about the phone. The company has hinted something related to speed and performance with the #SpeedToTheMax.

A recent leak by tipster OnLeaks revealed the box of the phone. It showed that the GT 3 has support for 240W fast charging out of the box. The retail box, unfortunately, does not reveal the design or any other specifications of the phone.

It could be possible that Realme launches the GT 3 in various markets as a rebadged Realme GT Neo 5 5G from China. The upcoming Realme smartphone is confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It will also feature two battery and charging options. The 240W charging variant will have a 4600mAh battery, whereas the 150W variant will feature a 5000mAh battery.

The device is also confirmed to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera. There will be a triple-camera setup on the back. The device will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. It is rumoured to support a 144Hz refresh rate.
