Realme is expected to introduce the Realme GT Neo 6 series in the Chinese market. The Realme GT Neo 6 series is tipped to debut as the Realme GT 5 series in markets outside China. The Realme GT 5 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Now, noted tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has claimed that Realme will also introduce the Realme GT 5 Pro but it will go official towards the end of the year and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Digital Chat Station has also revealed some of the details of the upcoming Realme flagship. Let us take a closer look at the details.
Digital Chat Station claims that the Realme GT 5 Pro will sport a periscope zoom camera. As per the claim, the periscope zoom lens on the upcoming Realme flagship will be a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor which will support 3x optical zoom. The tipped zooming capabilities do not seem to be impressive compared to the competition since most of the flagships with periscope lenses offer 10x optical zoom.
The Realme GT 5 Pro is tipped to make use of a Sony IMX9 series lens with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size. This would serve as the primary shooter on the handset and will support optical image stabilisation (OIS). Apart from that, DCS hasn’t revealed anything about the device in terms of specifications and features.
We can expect the Realme GT 5 Pro to offer a 144Hz LED display, a 50MP camera, and 240W fast charging. Talking about the Realme GT 5, aka, GT Neo 6, the smartphone is tipped to feature a 144Hz refresh rate OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The upcoming GT series smartphone from Realme is said to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
The upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 is tipped to offer a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization. The smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 13 out of the box but as usual, we can expect it to be topped with Realme UI 4.0. It is said to support 100W fast charging. However, we can see an even faster charging variant of the Realme GT Neo 6.
The Realme GT Neo 6 is tipped to launch in 12GB/16GB/24GB RAM options and it might be offered in 256GB/512GB storage configuration. As of now, only this much is known about the upcoming Realme flagships. However, we can expect the Realme GT Neo 6 to pop up on certification websites in the coming days since it is rumoured to launch later this month in China.
