Realme announced its GT flagship in China earlier this year. The company has now unveiled its top-end smartphone offering for the global market. The GT 5G has been unveiled in select international markets for the time being. Realme is also expected to launch the device in India at a later date. The GT 5G features a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The flagship device has an AMOLED 120Hz display as well. Realme GT 5G price 

Realme has launched the GT 5G in two storage configurations. The 8GB +128GB variant is launched for EUR 449, which is roughly Rs 39,850. This particular variant will go on sale only via AliExpress starting June 21 in select markets. The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at EUR 599 (roughly Rs 53,200). As part of the early bird pricing, the 8GB and 12GB variant can be purchased for EUR 369 (roughly Rs 32,700) and EUR 499 (roughly Rs 44,300) during the Amazon Prime Day sale from June 21 in available markets. The phone comes in three colours – Dashing Silver, Dashing Blue and Racing Yellow.

Realme has announced that the device will first go on sale in Poland, Spain, Russia, and Thailand with additional markets to follow. Realme is expected to make an announcement on the device’s India availability soon.

Specifications and features

The flagship smartphone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display also sports a hole-punch cutout for the front camera.

Under the hood, the Realme GT packs an octa-core 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor. It is paired with an Adreno 660 GPU and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone comes with up to 256GB of internal storage. 

On the back is a triple-camera setup. The phone offers a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, it gets a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The device packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support via USB Type-C. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other connectivity options include 5G Dual-mode, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS. It runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box and is among the first devices to get the Android 12 developer beta update.

Realme also launched its first robot vacuum mop at the launch event. It has a 2-in-1 sweeping and cleaning function and supports Google Assistant and Alexa as well. The robot vacuum cleaner can be set up and controlled via the Realme Link app. It has a starting price of EUR 299 (roughly Rs 26,500).
