Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT Master Edition smartphone. The smartphone might be the company’s camera flagship for the year. Ahead of the launch, detailed specifications and renders of the device have now surfaced on the web, courtesy of OnLeaks, and 91mobiles. As per the report, the upcoming Realme GT Master Edition will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, and will offer a 64MP triple-rear camera setup. The inclusion of a 64MP primary sensor is a bummer here, considering, this is Realme’s camera-focused flagship for the year. Let us take a detailed look at Realme GT Master Edition renders, design, and leaked specifications.

Realme GT Master Edition: Renders, and Design

The upcoming GT Master Edition will feature a flat display with minimal bezels, and a punch-hole notch on the top left corner. The handset will offer a triple-rear camera setup housed inside a rectangular camera module. This Master Edition is also designed by famous Japanese designer Naoto Fukusawa, and will retail White, and Black color variants with a matte finish. There will also be a Faux Leather variant with a pattern on it.

Realme GT Master Edition: Specifications, and Price (Leaked)

The Realme GT Master Edition is said to feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G mobile processor. This is in contradiction with the earlier reports, that claimed that the handset will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. In fact, Arsenal, a famous tipster from Weibo, reiterated that the handset will be powered by Snapdragon 870 mobile processor.

Moving on to the cameras, the handset is said to offer a 64MP triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary sensor on the device will get accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. This is again contrary to previous reports that hinted that the company will use a 108MP sensor on the handset. On the front, the handset is reported to have a 32MP shooter.

The upcoming GT Master Edition will be equipped with a 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperDart fast charging support. It will boot Android 11, with Realme UI 2.0 on top. The handset is said to be around 8mm in terms of thickness and weigh around 174 grams. It is said to be priced at EUR 399 (approx. Rs 35,200) for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB + 256GB version might cost EUR 449 (approx. Rs 39,600).

Realme is also said to collaborate with Kodak for the upcoming Realme GT Master Edition handset. But, the inclusion of a 64MP primary sensor is a surprise, considering the brand uses 64MP sensors in most of its mid-range handsets. In fact, the recently launched Realme 8 Pro offers a 108MP primary sensor, which is also a mid-range handset. What do you think of a 64MP primary sensor on a camera-focused flagship handset?
