Realme unveiled the Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone a couple of weeks ago in the Chinese market. Right after the China launch, Realme Vice President – Madhav Sheth hinted toward a possible global launch of the device. The GT Neo 3 is expected to launch this month itself in the country. Now, the GT Neo 3 has bagged BIS certification that hints toward an imminent launch.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav was the first one to spot the listing and claims that the GT Neo 3 will launch in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants in the country. Let us take a closer look at the Realme GT Neo 3 specifications and features.

The GT Neo 3 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1000Hz touch sampling rate, and 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It features a centered punch hole notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Powering the GT Neo 3 is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor that is built on a 5nm fabrication process. The system on chip brings with it an integrated Mali G510 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The handset boots Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

The GT Neo 3 offers a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the device is a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. It gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP front shooter.

The GT Neo 3 comes in two configurations – one with a 5000mAh battery and 80W fast charging. While the other variant has a 4500mAh battery with 150W fast charging. It offers a Type-C charging port, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. It measures 163.3 × 75.6 ×8.2mm and weighs 188grams.
