Realme India has been tipped to launch its next premium smartphone in the country, soon. Called the Realme GT Neo 3T, the smartphone is finally expected to be launched in India in the coming week, on September 16 — according to a tweet on the matter by noted tipster, Abhishek Yadav. The device is finally launching in India after being launched globally in June, and was subsequently showcased during the opening of a company store in Ahmedabad in June as well. The device will now finally be in India, as part of the upcoming festive season sale on Flipkart, and if you’re interested in getting your hands on it, here’s what you need to know.

Realme GT Neo 3T: Everything We Expect to See

According to the teaser post on Flipkart, the smartphone will come with 80W fast charging speed — a feature that is becoming increasingly common in premium smartphones today. The smartphone had previously been teased by company CEO, Madhav Sheth, to be launching in August, but was pushed back likely for internal reasons.

The Flipkart teaser also offers us a glimpse of the phone’s design, which we have also seen in its global unveiling. The smartphone will offer metal edges that are tapered on the sides, which bevels the display slightly upward. The front camera is to the top left corner, while Realme is also offering what appears to be a ‘racing flag’ design on the phone.

Key expected specifications of the phone include the Snapdragon 870 SoC from Qualcomm, which is a one-generation old flagship grade chip. To the front, the device is expected to feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate — which you would expect to find today in any premium smartphone. Variants of the phone are expected to come with up to 8GB memory and 256GB of internal storage, without any expandable storage slot either.

To the rear, the device could feature a 64MP triple rear camera setup with up to 4K video recording at 60fps, and a 16MP front camera with full HD video recording and video conferencing as well. The smartphone is likely to not feature a 3.5mm audio port, but should come with an under display, optical fingerprint sensor.

Finally, the 80W charging speed should be paired with a 5,000mAh battery on the phone. All of this should come within Rs 40,000 for its starting price, going by the indication of the phone’s global pricing of EUR 470. The smartphone should feature in Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale in the coming weeks, which could also see it get introductory discounts.
