Realme GT Neo 5 5G Specifications
The Realme GT Neo 5 series is confirmed to feature a 150W fast charging variant in China. There is also a 240W fast charging variant of the phone. The 150W version of the GT Neo 5 5G will come with a 5000mAh battery. Realme claims that the 150W charging variant of the phone will charge completely within 16 minutes.
In comparison, the 240W fast charging variant will pack a smaller 4600mAh battery under the hood. The 240W fast charging variant will obviously charger faster.
In addition to the battery details, Realme confirmed that the phone will feature a new ice core dual-phase heat dissipation system, which will feature a 6580mm2 graphene micro-nano cavity phase change materials.
The phone will also feature an independent display chip that will work together with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC to ensure additional frames are added for a smoother user experience.
The company also confirmed earlier today that the GT Neo 5 will feature a Sony IMX890 main camera sensor. The 50MP camera sensor is the same as the one found in the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R and the OPPO Find N2 series.
The primary camera with support optical image stabilisation. Realme has also confirmed that the phone will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. There is an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone is tipped to feature a 16MP front camera.
The device will have RGB lights next to the camera module, which can be customised with up to 25 different colour options and combinations.
The device is also confirmed to launch with a new Purple colour option. There will be up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will launch with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. There will support for a 144Hz refresh rate, according to rumours. The device is also said to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Realme smartphone will run Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android.
