Realme GT Neo 5 Design and Specifications
The Realme GT Neo 5 5G will launch with many upgrades over the outgoing model. The phone will come with some flagship-grade specs. As per the latest teaser, the phone will launch in a new purple colour option. The curved rear panel uses AG Glass technology and offers a matte finish in a purple colour option.
We can also see two vertical stripes running below the camera module. The phone has a huge island at the top for the two circular camera cutouts and the RGB light. The two circular cutouts house a triple-camera setup. The LED flash module is placed next to the camera sensors.
Realme’s teaser images confirm that the GT Neo 5 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The same SoC will be found in the upcoming OnePlus 11R 5G. Realme has also confirmed that the phone will feature a Sony IMX890 50MP main camera. The primary camera sensor will come with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The highlight feature of the GT Neo 5 will be its fast charging support. The phone is already confirmed to offer 240W fast charging support. The company claims to comply all safety protocols and offer best-in-class battery experience. The 240W charging solution has also received TÜV Rheinland’s certification for safe fast charging. The SuperVOOC tech will offer up to 2 hours of calling time with a 30-second charge.
Other details of the phone have leaked in the past. The device is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The screen is also tipped to offer a 144Hz refresh rate.
The phone’s triple-camera setup will include an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the GT Neo 5 will feature a 16MP front camera. The device is said to feature up to 5000mAh battery. We say up to because the phone is likely to launch in two variants.
The 240W fast charging variant is said to launch with a 4500mAh battery. The 5000mAh battery variant, on the other hand, will support 150W fast charging out of the box. The device will also launch with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will boot Android 13 out of the box. There will be a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android.
