Realme launched the GT Neo 5 earlier this year in China. The smartphone was unveiled globally as the GT 3 5G with support for up to 240W fast charging. Realme has not confirmed any details about launching the premium smartphone in India. Meanwhile, it looks like the company is already working on the launch of a new GT Neo 5 series phone. According to rumours, the GT Neo 5 Pro is in the works. Realme is likely to launch the GT Neo 5 Pro with some top-of-the-line hardware in China.
The device might launch globally as the GT 3 Pro. While we wait for more details about the launch time, a new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Realme smartphone. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro specifications, features and other details leaked ahead of the launch.
Realme GT Neo 5 Pro: Specifications Leaked So Far
Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will be the company’s most premium smartphone launching in the coming weeks. Its specifications have leaked online. Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed (via) the key specifications of the GT Neo 5 Pro, claiming that the phone will sport a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. Realme is said to provide support for up to a 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The tipster also revealed the camera specifications of the GT Neo 5 Pro. According to Digital Chat Station, the GT Neo 5 Pro will feature a 16MP front camera sensor. On the back, the phone will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor with support for optical image stabilisation. The same primary camera is found in the likes of the OnePlus 11, Reno 10 Pro+ 5G and OPPO Find X6 5G. The tipster did not reveal any details about other auxiliary cameras of the GT Neo 5 Pro.
There will be the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. Notably, the GT Neo 5 Pro will be the first smartphone from the company to feature the Qualcomm flagship SoC. It is said to be paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It would not be a surprise if Realme launches the phone with 512GB or even 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. There will be a 5200mAh battery on offer with support for 150W fast charging. The device might also launch with a 100W charging variant.
As expected, the phone will run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top. Design renders of the phone have not leaked yet. However, Digital Chat Station claims that the phone’s back will have a transparent portion like the Realme GT Neo 5.
Realme has not confirmed any details about the launch of the device. As mentioned above, the phone might launch globally as the GT 3 Pro and sit above the GT 3 5G.
