Realme GT Neo 5 SE is set to launch on April 3 in China. The GT Neo 5 SE will be the second phone in the new premium series, sitting below the GT Neo 5 5G, which was launched earlier this year in China. The GT Neo 5 SE is likely to launch in India and other markets later this year. Realme has not confirmed any details about the phone’s global launch. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed the camera specs and battery capacity of the GT Neo 5 SE ahead of its launch.

Realme has been dropping teasers of the phone, which reveal its key design elements and specs. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has uploaded an image of the phone and revealed its new colour option as well. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 5 SE specifications, features and other details known so far.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE Design and Specifications Tipped

The new Realme GT Neo 5 SE is confirmed to launch in China on April 3. Ahead of the launch, the phone’s design has surfaced on the web. According to the image shared (via) online, the GT Neo 5 SE will launch in a black colour option. The image uploaded by tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the phone has a dual-tone black colour option, with the camera island being slightly darker than the rest of the panel. There are two circular cutouts on the back for the triple-camera setup and an LED flash module. There is also a Final Fantasy colour option of the phone, which was officially teased by the company.

The tipster also revealed that the GT Neo 5 SE will feature a 64MP main camera sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. The details about the other two sensors were not tipped by the leaker but as per rumours, the GT Neo 5 SE will have an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.

Lastly, the tipster revealed that the GT Neo 5 SE will pack a beefy 5500mAh battery under the hood. The battery capacity is much more than the GT Neo 5’s 240W charging variant, which packs a 4600mAh battery. It is also bigger than the 150W variant, which packs a 5000mAh battery. The GT Neo 5 SE, in comparison, will offer slower charging support at 100W.

The phone is confirmed to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, which was unveiled earlier this month. The SoC is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and has a peak clock speed of 2.91GHz.

The GT Neo 5 SE will not feature the RBG light on the back, which is found in the more premium GT Neo 5 5G. It is expected to run Android 13 out of the box and have Realme UI 4.0 on top.
