Realme will launch the GT Neo 5 SE 5G in China on April 3. The new GT series phone will sit below the more premium sibling GT Neo 5, which was launched globally as the GT 3 5G. Realme has not confirmed or revealed its plans about launching the GT Neo 5 SE globally. Meanwhile, the company has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming GT series phone. Realme’s latest teaser confirms that the Neo 5 SE will feature a whopping 16GB RAM option.
Not just that, the phone will also offer 1TB of storage. While this might seem like an overkill, the company is making a 1TB storage option mainstream with upper mid-range buyers. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 5 SE specifications, features and other details known so far.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE Specifications Revealed
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE 5G is confirmed to get a 1TB storage option. The GT series device will also feature 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. We can expect Realme to launch the phone with 8GB and 12GB of RAM, which will offer variations of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options.
Realme has already confirmed that the phone will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The SoC was launched last month with a peak clock speed of 2.91GHz. It is based on a 4nm process and gets close to the performance of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The GT Neo 5 SE was spotted on AnTuTu, where it scored 1009127 points. The listing further revealed that the phone will run on the latest Android 13 update out of the box. It will have a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top.
In addition to the above details, Realme has also revealed the design of the phone. The phone has a curved frame and body. It will launch in Final Fantasy and Black colour options. The device also has a triple-camera setup on the back. There is no RGB lighting on the back like the GT Neo 5.
The GT Neo 5 SE is confirmed to feature a 64MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture. It will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone will weigh about 193 grams. It is also confirmed to pack a 5500mAh battery under the hood. The device will offer support for 100W fast charging out of the box.
On the front, the phone is confirmed to sport a 144Hz AMOLED display with support for 1.5K resolution. The display is flat and has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. In addition to this, it is confirmed to offer 1500Hz of instant touch sampling rate and 2160Hz PWM Dimming.
The remaining details of the phone have leaked online. The GT Neo 5 SE is said to feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display. It will also come with a 16MP front camera sensor and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
