Realme GT Neo 5 SE launch event is set to take place next week in China. The company has confirmed the launch date of its new premium smartphone. The GT Neo 5 SE will sit below the GT Neo 5, which was launched earlier this year in China. At the moment, it is unknown if the GT Neo 5 SE will make its debut in global markets outside China. Meanwhile, ahead of the April 3 launch event, the company has confirmed some key details about its upcoming GT series phone.
The latest teaser confirms some key display features of the GT Neo 5 SE. Based on the confirmed features, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will sport a premium display. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 5 SE specifications, features and other details ahead of the launch.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE Display Specifications Confirmed
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE will sport a flat display, according to the latest teaser shared by the company. The phone will debut on April 3 in China. Ahead of the launch, Realme shared a teaser on Weibo, which confirmed that the GT Neo 5 SE will launch with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The screen has very thin top and side bezels. Realme also revealed that the screen will have a 1.5K resolution.
In addition to this, the phone will offer support for a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will offer support for up to 1500Hz of instant touch sampling rate and 2160Hz PWM Dimming. The teaser image also reveals that the phone’s volume buttons are on the left side of the phone.
In addition to the above details, Realme has already confirmed that the upcoming “SE” smartphone in the GT series will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The SoC was unveiled earlier this month with a peak clock speed of 2.91GHz.
The phone will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. It is confirmed to feature a 64MP main camera sensor. The huge camera island is also tipped to feature an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.
The GT Neo 5 SE will sport a curved rear panel and frame. It is confirmed to launch in at least two colours — Final Fantasy and Black. While the company is expected to unveil more details as we approach the launch, the rumour mill has already shared some of the key specs of the phone.
The GT Neo 5 SE is said to sport a tall 6.74-inch AMOLED display. There will be a 16MP front camera sensor. The phone is also rumoured to pack a beefy 5500mAh battery under the hood. It will launch with support for 100W fast charging out of the box. The charging speed will be lower than the more premium GT Neo 5, which offers up to 240W fast charging support.
Speaking of the GT Neo 5, the phone was launched last month as the GT 3 5G in Europe. The phone is expected to launch soon in India. Realme has not revealed the India launch date at the moment.
