Realme GT Neo 5 SE Launch: What You Need to Know

Realme GT Neo 5 SE will launch on April 3 in China. The phone will sit below the GT Neo 5 5G, which was launched last month at MWC 2023. The GT Neo 5 SE will take some design cues from its more premium sibling. However, there will be some changes. The phone does not have the RGB light next to the camera module, which is found in the GT Neo 5.

It does have a triple-camera setup on the back. The camera sensors are placed on a huge island, which has two circular cutouts for the three sensors. There is also an LED flash module. The GT Neo 5 SE’s primary camera will have an f/1.79 aperture, according to the teaser. As per rumours, the phone has a 64MP main camera with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro/ depth sensor. Realme is yet to officially confirm any details about the camera sensors. So, we advise taking the leaked details with a pinch of salt.

The rear panel, as mentioned above, is curved. It has a racing stripe design with the Realme “Dare to Leap” branding at the bottom. It has a gradient finish on the back of the “Final Fantasy” colour option. Realme is expected to launch the phone in more colour options as well. The device weighs about 193.1 grams, according to the official teaser.

Realme has not revealed the front panel design of the phone yet. However, some key details about the device have leaked in the past.

The phone is confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 SoC. It was spotted on Geekbench, which revealed that the phone will have at least 12GB of RAM. The device is also tipped to pack a 5500mAh battery under the hood. There could be support for 100W fast charging as well. In addition to this, the GT Neo 5 SE is said to feature a 1.5K resolution display. The OLED panel will offer support for a 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM Dimming. It will run Android 13 out of the box. There will be a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android.
